The label starts here
Backsight is a games label. The name is the rear sight of a rifle and the reading a surveyor takes back to a known point: you look back to know where you are. That is how we make games. Each one owes something to a game we played in the 1980s or after, and its page says which one and why.
We publish on Steam. Every game gets a public tracker where bug reports and feature requests go, with a number, so anyone can see what was asked and what was done. Release notes name the issues they close. The requests that made it in are listed on the feedback page, each with the note that closed it.
This log carries three kinds of note: a patch, a decision taken with players, and an old game that steered a new one. It has an Atom feed. The first title is in development; its page appears the day it has a store entry.
